Reach for the Stars is a pledge-based reading incentive program that puts quality books in to the hands of children & adults and rewards them for reading, as well as benefiting the organization in the form of cash and books or just all books. The goal of Reach for the Stars program is for the Participants to read, or be read to, for a minimum of 300 minutes over a 10 day period. This is an average of 30 minutes per week day. It is also the recommended amount of time that experts encourage for daily reading. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How Does the Organization Benefit? The Reach for the Stars program returns over 100% of all pledges to the organization and the participants in a combination of award-winning Usborne Books and cash! We have books for all ages starting at $3.95. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Who can participate? Any organized group of children and or adults is eligible to participate. Option #1 ~ Fund Raiser Program 100% of the pledge money is given to the organization in the form of cash and books from the Usborne catalog as follows: 30% cash to the organization 50% books to the children with pledges 20% books to the classrooms or library Option #2 ~ Book Bonanza Program 100% of the pledge money is given to the organization in the form of educational books from the Usborne Catalog. 50% books to children with pledges 50% books to classrooms or library ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What is the need in your organization?
